Midwest Gaming Classic 2018

Midwest Gaming Classic is right around the corner. This time at new location! Bigger! Better! More full of stuff you didn’t know you need in your life!
Last time I did this show, I picked up the old Duck Hunt zapper. This time in red. Oooooo. No reason to own that but why the heck not?
If there’s some old favorite video game from your childhood that you need to fill that nostalgia void in your life, this is the place to find it.
The show will be at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee on April 14th & 15th, with some special events happening on Friday the 13th 😮

Here’s what they say about their show:
The Midwest Gaming Classic is a trade show featuring 100,000+ square feet of retro and modern home video game consoles, pinball machines, arcade video games, computers, table top gaming, crane games, collectible card games and air hockey, and that’s just the start!

The Midwest Gaming Classic is about celebrating gaming, trying new things, learning about the gaming hobby, about meeting others who share the love of gaming, and having fun doing it!

No matter if you have one console and a handful of games or thousands of games in every room of your house, you’ll find something to celebrate with us! Click the buttons to find out even more!

Walker Stalker Chicago 2018

Walker Stalker Chicago is back!

If you’re a fan of The Walking Dead, Fox’s Gotham, Netflix’s Marvel shows, or CW’s Arrow (and a whole lot more), this is the place to be to meet a bunch of the people from the show. And aside from all the celebrity stalking you’ll get to do there, Walker Stalker is one of the best shows in the area to stock up on all sorts of great horror memorabilia. Like ZomBeans!

If you need a taste of horror before Walker Stalker, pick up your free copy of Fear & Sunshine: Prelude here. Then, when you go get some autographs, you can tell your favorite celebrity which character in my books they should play when we start making movies.

The show will be at Donald E. Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL on April 7th and 8th. You can find a whole lot more details here.

Is That ZomBean Soup?

Before Indiana Comic Con, Fear & Sunshine will be stopping by the Bowls & Books Annual Soup Festival at the Rhode Theater in Kenosha, Wisconsin for the third time. Come by to meet local authors and fill your belly with soup from a bunch of area restaurants.

I’ll be there from 5-7pm on Wednesday, March 28th so make sure to bring your colored up show flyer or wear one of these brand new super cool t-shirts to get a free button.

For all the details for the show, here’s their Facebook page. And for some of the restaurants that’ll be competing for the city’s best soup, we’ve got:
• Francine’s Catering
• Gateway Cafe
• Kaiser’s
• Morelli’s Deli
• Ruffolo’s Pizza
• Skybox
• The Buzz
• Boat House
• Coffee Pot
• Captain Mike’s
• Pete’s Place
• Sazzy B’s
• Swede’s
• TG’s
• Twisted Cuisine

Fun Fact: I use the bowl that I got from the first of these that I did to heat up butter for popcorn. It’s really perfect for it. I don’t know if you can do anything with that information in your life, but there you go.
